Stop by the evening of the First Friday Art walk in April and check out KOMOREBI Designs by Sarah Lahey.
You'll be able to shop her artwork including paintings, painted rocks, earrings, plants, and more!
Artist's Statement: KOMOREBI: The space between the canopy and branches that allows the sunlight to gently filter through. In Japan, the dappled light this creates is called komorebi (pronounced koh-mo-reh-bee) and is made up of the kanji characters for tree (木), shine through (漏机), and sun (日).
When I make art I try to channel this delicate energy for inspiration and calmness, vanquishing the judgment that might come up as I create. I hope you feel inspired by what you see.
